Purchasing real estate in the UK has always seemed like an adventurous undertaking to me... While in St. Petersburg, I decided that a deposit of 1KUSD was not such a big risk and asked a friend to make a deposit at his discretion in one of the properties I liked; I sent a photo of my passport and received an offer with a good discount. SK immediately became closer and more attractive to me))). I contacted the developer and received a contract for review. I had many questions regarding the contract, but the developer did not answer me promptly. I asked a friend to send me a contact who helped him in finding an apartment and contributed a lot to this attractive offer. It was Dmitry Novitsky. I talked to Dmitry, a stranger to me at the time, saying that I was arriving in a day. In one day, a meeting at the airport was organized, accommodation in a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea, breakfast in the refrigerator). On the trail. the day a meeting was organized with the manager at the sales office. I voiced a long list of questions and my proposals for amending the agreement. The real estate market in the UK is “not worth it” - to say nothing! To obtain the agreement that I could sign, approval was required from the accounting department, the director... When I thought about buying real estate in Northern Cyprus, the question arose about a realtor. I had never been to the island, I don’t speak the languages, I don’t know the basic laws and customs of the country, I had a bad idea of ​​the complex of real estate services. I believed that the professionalism of a realtor is the ability to sell real estate at the maximum price. The ideal option for purchasing real estate was something like this: “I wish I could have a very good friend on the island who understands the advantages and disadvantages of the areas, the advantages and disadvantages of apartments, etc.” Moreover, I was not aware of many aspects that should be taken into account when purchasing real estate. However, I did not have any acquaintance on the island. Watching videos about real estate on YouTube, I tried to cut out agents/realtors whose advertising seemed aggressive and intrusive to me, and tried, as far as possible, to put human qualities at the forefront. And now I am very glad that I was not mistaken in choosing Dmitry’s agency! I think that a “good friend” could not have helped me more than Dmitry! The standard phrase “I received the full range of services when buying an apartment” does not reflect a small part of what I received. Working with Dmitry, I realized that the professionalism of a realtor is not the ability to “sell”, it is a sincere desire and, most importantly, the ability to help. Dmitry showed the regions of Northern Cyprus and talked about their features. When viewing apartments, he drew my attention not only to the advantages, but also to the disadvantages of the apartments and, in general, of this or that complex.
