In order to maintain public order, ensure national security and protect the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, on the basis of the powers granted by the Migration Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the following categories of persons are subject to deportation:
Persons without a fixed place of residence are low-income people who do not have a permanent place of residence or means of subsistence.
Persons with intellectual disabilities or mental illness are those who cannot provide adequate care for themselves or pose a threat to themselves or others.
Persons with a contagious or infectious disease - especially those who may pose an epidemiological threat.
Those convicted of crimes, including manslaughter or other serious crimes that carry a prison sentence.
Persons involved in prostitution or pimping.
Persons threatening national security - in particular, participants or suspects in preparing a coup.
Persons whose actions may disturb public order are those whose behavior may cause disturbances of the peace or moral conflicts.
Persons involved in drug trafficking.
Persons on the international wanted list.
Persons accused of destroying family ties.
Citizens of foreign countries who arrived without an official invitation to work or other confirmation from local authorities, as well as refugees.
Persons who are in the country without the necessary documents are those who entered or are staying without a visa, residence permit or with expired documents.
