Health insurance in North Cyprus, how much does it cost?

Recently (summer 2023) my wife and I decided to buy family health insurance.🏥💙

This gives you the opportunity and confidence to receive professional medical help if necessary. 

We paid only 745 euros . My insurance was 210 euros , for my wife - 345 euros , for a child - 205 euros .

What does the insurance include:

✅ Inpatient treatment: Covering the costs of hospital stay, surgery, intensive care and support. ANNUAL LIMIT – UNLIMITED

✅ Ambulance (ground) - UNLIMITED. Ambulance (air-sea) - 40,000 TRY

✅ Therapy and chemo-radiodialysis therapy: Providing treatment without surgery. ANNUAL LIMIT – UNLIMITED  

✅ Dental treatment in case of an accident: Payment of expenses for dental procedures after an accident. ANNUAL LIMIT – 10,000 TRY

✅ Post-operative examination and rehabilitation: Payment for physiotherapy and rehabilitation procedures after surgery (max. 20 sessions). ANNUAL LIMIT – UNLIMITED

✅ Medical supplies and orthopedic products: Reimbursement for the cost of medical devices and orthopedic products. ANNUAL LIMIT – 12,000 TRY

✅ Control mammography and SCAN analysis: Regular examinations for women over 40 years old and men over 40 years old. ONE TIME

✅ Outpatient treatment and medical appointments: ANNUAL LIMIT - UNLIMITED (payment only 20% of the cost)

✅ Modern diagnostic methods: Inclusion of X-ray and laboratory tests in the price. ANNUAL LIMIT – UNLIMITED (payment only 20% of the cost)

✅ Physiotherapy and rehabilitation: Free physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions (max. 20 sessions). ANNUAL LIMIT – UNLIMITED (payment only 20% of the cost)

In addition, the insurance includes a dental examination, teeth cleaning and CT scan - ONE TIME

In general, pay a tidy sum once and then you won’t make a big deal when billing for medical services😂
